DELTA HEALTH CARE SERVICES GRANT PROGRAM
The Delta Health Care Services Grant Program is designed to provide financial assistance to address the continued unmet health need in the Delta Region through cooperation among health care professionals, institutions of higher education, research institutions, and other entities in the Delta Region.

Consortiums of regional institutions of higher education, academic health and research institutes, and economic development entities located in the Delta Region that have experience in addressing the health care issues in the region. Individuals are not eligible for this program..
| | Each fiscal year, applications are solicited through a Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA) published in the Federal Register.

Grant funds must be used for projects in rural areas within the Delta Region:
- develop a health care cooperative;
- develop health care services;
- develop health education programs;
- develop health care training programs;
- develop and expand public health-related facilities in the Delta Region to address longstanding and unmet health needs of the region.
