Grant Program Information

Am I eligible to apply? How do I apply?
You must be a nonprofit corporation or an institution of higher education to apply for this program. Public bodies and individuals are not eligible to apply for the RCDG program.
Each fiscal year, applications are solicited through a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) published in the Federal Register. Please review the NOFA and the Program Regulation entirely and follow the included instructions.

What can I do with the grant? If I get the grant, what’s next?
Grant funds may be used to pay for 75 percent (95 percent when the applicant is a 1994 Institution) of the cost of establishing and operating centers for rural cooperative development.
You will need to complete required paperwork and comply with the terms and conditions of the award. Contact your nearest Rural Development office for details.
