Guaranteed Loan Processing Time- The Guaranteed Rural Housing Loan Program in California is currently experiencing very heavy loan volume. This level of loan activity will likely continue through the end of the current fiscal year which ends September 30, 2012. Current turn time is 4-5
business days for GUS loan submissions and 7-10 business days for manual underwrite submissions. Business days exclude weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and all federal holidays. Please schedule processing times accordingly. Rush requests will not be honored. Loans are reviewed in the order they are received.
"Flipping Rule"- USDA does not have a specific guideline regarding how long the subject property must be owned by the seller. It is the lender's responsibility to insure that the appraised value is based on the most current and accurate data available.
