The Rural Development architecture, engineering, and environmental staff provides technical support relating to all construction projects administered by Rural Development. This technical support includes consultation, review, oversight, and concurrence related to:

  • Site selection

  • Consultant selection

  • Design documents

  • Design and systems selection guidance

  • Construction documents

  • Agreements for professional services

  • Agreements for construction services

  • Development budgets

  • Bidding procedures

  • Construction administration

  • Accessibility for persons with disabilities

  • Rehabilitation

  • Existing project assessments

  • Environmental hazard reports

  • Environmental assessments.

This web page contains reference materials generated by the Rural Development Colorado State Office’s Architectural, Engineering, and Environmental staff, as well as links to key related web sites of the National Offices of the Rural Housing Service, the Rural Business-Cooperative Service, and the Rural Utilities Service.

ENGINEERING

The State Engineer works in coordination with the Rural Utilities Service program staff, to develop and service projects funded by Rural Development under the authorities of the Water and Waste Facilities Program. for more information, please call the Business Community Program technician at 720-544-2931.
