Business and Community Programs

Business and Community Programs offer a variety of assistance to rural business and communities. The programs revolve around financial partnerships with local economic organizations such as banks, lenders, economic development groups, cities, counties, tribes, and utility cooperatives.

To support rural regional economic prosperity in Florida and the USVI, USDA Rural Development provides business development opportunities for rural eligible entities, including cooperative business development, community economic development and strategic community planning and self-help initiatives. Please review our various USDA Rural Business Programs page. Eligibility requirements are specific. To gain more information regarding the myriad of program available, please contact the Area Office in your county.

Lenders Interested in our BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY GUARANTEED LOANS (B&I) program should contact either their Area Office or our State Office at (352) 338-3402.
