Section 9004 - Repowering Assistance Payments to Eligible Biorefineries Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) Number is 10.866
Program provides financial incentives to biorefineries in existence on June 18, 2008, to replace the use of fossil fuels used to produce heat or power at their facilities by making
payments to assist in the installation of new systems that use renewable biomass.
To access FY 11 funds, applications must be received in the National Office by June 9, 2011 and must follow the guidelines given in the March 11, 2011 NOFA
and the February 11, 2011 Interim Rule.
Amount of Award may be up to $5 million or 50% of total eligible projects, whichever is less.
