Community Facilities Programs
Community Facilities Programs provide loans, grants, and loan guarantees for projects to develop essential community facilities for public use in rural areas. This may include hospitals, fire protection, public safety, libraries, schools, and day care centers, as well as many other community-based initiatives. Visit the following site for a complete overview: Community Facilities Programs.
Water and Environmental Programs (WEP) provide loans, grants, and loan guarantees for drinking water, sanitary sewer, solid waste and storm drainage facilities. WEP also makes grants to nonprofit organizations to provide technical assistance and training to assist rural communities with their water, wastewater, and solid waste problems.
