CUT OFF, LA–In 1991,Tarpon Heights Apartments were funded with a construction loan from USDA Rural Development and current rehab funding from Louisiana Housing Finance Agency. Tarpon Heights Apartments developer, community officials, and others joined USDA Rural Development State Director Clarence W. Hawkins to celebrate the grand opening of the newly remodeled 48-unit complex. USDA Rural Development offers financing to rural communities for development of safe, affordable, and quality housing opportunities.
