Section 9007 Rural Energy for America Program (REAP)

FY 2012 (10-1-11 to 9-30-12) Applications are accepted at any time.

Complete Applications must be submitted to the State Energy Coordinator. Please contact the coordinator as soon as possible before you begin the application process.

Grant Only Applications More info There are funds designated for grant only applications of $20,000 or less. Nationally, 20% of funds must be spent on projects with a grant request of $20,000 or less. Funds are also available for grant only applications exceeding $20,000. Renewable Energy Feasibility Study grants Maximum grant is $50,000 or up to 25% or less.
Guaranteed Loan Only Applications More info Loans for the purchase of energy efficiency improvements or renewable energy systems.
Combination grant & Guaranteed loan Applications Loans and grants for the purchase of energy efficiency improvements or renewable energy systems.
Grants for Energy Audits and Renewable Energy Assistance Maximum grant award is $100,000. The is program is a national competition for funds. 4% of funds nationally must be set aside for the EA and REDA grants.
