Downeast Mortgage Corporation has been an approved lender since March 2000, and has originated a total of 116 loans. Downeast started as a construction lending company and now offers a full range of mortgage services throughout New England. They are committed to serving the needs of local communities.

Franklin Savings Bank has been an approved lender since April 1992 and originated a total of 288 loans. Franklin Savings Bank has been a dedicated community lender serving the people of Franklin and Oxford Counties.

Machias Savings Bank has been an approved lender since September of 1991. They were one of only two lenders who helped to establish the Guaranteed Single Family Housing Program in Maine. Machias Savings Bank has originated 307 loans in the Guranteed Housing Program.

Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., became an approved lender in March 2000. They have originated over 800 Guaranteed Single Family Housing Loans since 2000. In fiscal year 2004, they originated 115 loans, which represents nearly 25 percent of Rural Developments Guaranteed Single Family Housing Program Loan volume for the year. Rural Development appreciates their dedication to Maine families.

Bangor Savings Bank has been an active participant in the Guaranteed Single Family Housing Program since March 1992 and has originated over 500 Guaranteed Single Family Housing Loans from 1992 to 2004. They were second in loan originations in fiscal year 2004, making approximately 13 percent of Rural Developments Guaranteed Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loans. They have consistently maintained a low delinquency, and have a 0 first year delinquency. Bangor Savings Babk has participated in Rural Development's programs statewide, and handle the servicing for a substantial portion of our active Guaranteed Single Family Housing Program caseload.
