Approved Lenders
should complete the "Lender
Contact Sheet" and email the completed from to
nathan.tutt@mo.usda.gov.
- The State Coordinator will make sure the lender
is currently approved for the Guaranteed Rural Housing Program and
forward the lender contact sheet to all three National Office GUS
contacts.
- A GUS Starter Pack will be electronically
delivered to the lender. The GUS Starter Pack includes:
Welcome Letter, User Agreement, Transmittal Cover, Mandatory
Training Instructions, and step by step Sign Up For GUS
instructions.
- When instructed, the lender will need to
create a LEVEL ONE e-Authentication ID for GUS users and complete
mandatory training. USDA e-Authentication is the system
used by USDA agencies to enable customers to obtain
accounts that will allow them to access USDA Web
applications and services via the Internet. This
includes access to the Guaranteed Underwriting
System (GUS). Please note that USDA will only
accept e-Authentication Accounts from individuals.
Currently USDA e-Authentication does not have the
mechanism to issue accounts to businesses,
corporations or other entities. To apply for a
USDA e-Authentication Account please click
here.
- Lenders should mail ALL documents to the address
provided for DCFO in St. Louis upon completion of the required
steps. To avoid a delay in processing the request, mail all
three documents together: User Agreement, Transmittal Cover,
and Training Certification.
- DCFO will activate the lender by allowing access
to the appointed System Administrator via a confirmation email.
- Security Administrators for each institution may
now activate additional GUS Users by obtaining their e-Auth ID's.
The e-AUTH ID's are NOT activated in GUS until the Security
Administrator assigns GUS roles for each user.
THANK YOU for your expressed interest
in the Guaranteed Underwriting System (GUS) for the Single Family
Housing Guaranteed Loan Program.
