12/15/2010	USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT ANNOUNCES RENEWABLE ENERGY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY LOANS AND GRANTS Missouri State Director Janie Dunning presented fourteen recipients with certificates at an event held on December 15, 2010.
12/15/2010	UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL MISSOURI RECEIVES $576,246 FROM USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT TO IMPROVE KMOS-TV BROADCAST COVERAGE The Grant is one of only 13 grants awarded nationwide through the Public Television Digital Transition Grant Program.
12/06/2010	USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS NEW KITCHEN EQUIPMENT FOR MARCELINE AREA NUTRITION PROGRAM The $14,850 Community Facility Grant and $12,241 contributed by the Program funded the purchase.

10/25/2010	USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT JOINS WITH BARTON COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN A CELEBRATION OF THE HOSPITAL EXPANSION The expansion of the medical clinic and parking lot will add an 8,000 square foot addition to the existing hospital for exam rooms and offices.
10/25/2010	CITY OF IRONDALE CELEBRATES FUNDING FOR WATER SYSTEM The City is using the funds to install new water distribution lines and water meters along with constructing a 120 foot standpipe.
10/21/2010	CITY OF ST. MARY CELEBRATES FUNDING FOR WATER SYSTEM WITH CONGRESSMAN RUSS CARNAHAN AND USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT The city is utilizing the funds to install new water distribution lines and water meters along with constructing a 203,600 gallon standpipe.
10/19/2010	GRAVOIS ARM SEWER DISTARICT EXTENDS SEWER SERVICE WITH AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT FUNDS The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds will be used to extend sanitary sewer service to customers in the Millstone Lodge area, Red Hollow Road area, Towering Oak area, and the Morgan County R-III Elementary School.
10/18/2010	USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROVIDES $26 MILLION TO CASS COUNTY FOR BROADBAND SERVICE The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds will be used for construction of a Fiber-To-Home network that will extend approximately 1,286 miles. More than 138 jobs are estimated to be created or saved.
10/06/2010	USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROVIDES $1,430,000 TO CONSOLIDATED WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT #2 OF LAFAYETTE, JOHNSON AND SALINE COUNTIES The funds will be used to replace the existing standpipe at Blackburn with an elevated storage tank and upgrade of the water distribution line.
10/06/2010	PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT #17 OF JACKSON COUNTY UPGRADES WATER LINES WITH AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT FUNDS This phase of a long-term capital improvement plan will construct 5300 linear feet of 12" pipline and will improve water pressure for 853 customers.

10/052010	NORTHWEST MISSOURI ENTERPRISE FACILITATION AWARDED GRANT FUNDING THROUGH USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT The $20,000 grant will provide funds necessary to provide existing and potential entrepreneurs with valuable insight, knowledge, and solutions in starting, expanding, and developing small and merging businesses.
10/052010	GRAND RIVER EMERGENCY SERVICES AMBULANCE FUNDED BY USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT The $18,000 grant is being used to purchase and equip an ambulance to replace an older model that is no longer reliable. Grand River Emergency Services is contributing $102,000 toward the purchase.
09/30/2010	USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO MACON COUNTY SAMARITAN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL Funds will finance the construction of a new 39,807 square foot health care facility and the renovation of 11,000 square feet of existing space.
09/30/2010	GROUND BREAKING CEREMONIES HELD FOR SCOTLAND COUNTY HOSPITAL MARKING IMPROVEMENTS FUNDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT Funds will finance the construction of new building additions totaling approximately 18,900 square feet, along with renovating 13,500 square feet of the Hospital's current facilities, along with the addition of a new 7,300 clinic, library and confernence/educational area.

09/07/2010	CITY OF STEELE TO MAKE BRIDGE AND PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENTS WITH AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT FUNDS The USDA Rural Development Community Facility funds include a grant to replace the East Main Street Bridge and a grant for paving equipment.
09/07/2010	USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT CELEBRATES FUNDING WITH CITY OF RISCO The funds will be used in conjunction with the City's contribution of $7,500 to purchase and install a heating and cooling system for the facility currently serving as combination City Hall, Community Center, and Public Library.

09/03/2010	ATCHISON COUNTY WHOLESALE WATER COMMISSION FUNDED BY USDA The Commission plans to develop new ground water sources, the running of raw water from the well field to the treatment plant, and almost 20 miles of treated water transmission lines from the plant to the individual members of the Commission.

08/18/2010	PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT NO. 1 OF WASHINGTON COUNTY TO INSTALL SEWER SERVICE WITH AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT FUNDS $1,747,900 in Rural Development funding and additional funds from a Community Development Block Grant will finance the construction of a centralized wastewater collection system.

04/20/2010	PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT #1 OF MCDONALD COUNTY IMPROVES SEWER SERVICE WITH AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT FUNDS The $2,250,000 loan and $2,580,000 grant funds will improve the wastewater collection and treatment for the City of Jane and the immediate area servicing approximately 300 existing customers.
04/20/2010	PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT #7 OF VERNON COUNTY RENEWS WATER SUPPLY CONTRACT WITH AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT FUNDS Funds will be used to pay a connection fee to Consolidated Rural Water District of Bourbon County, Kansas. The contract will provide the 220 users, or approximately 527 residents of western Vernon County with a consistent and safe water supply.
