Biorefinery
Assistance Program |
The
program provides financial assistance, in the form of loan guarantees, for the
development and construction of commercial-scale biorefineries and for the
retrofitting of existing facilities using eligible technology for the
development of advanced biofuels.

created in the 2008 Farm Bill (Federal Catalog Number 10.865). |

Provides loan guarantees for the development, construction and
retrofitting of commercial scale
biorefineries that produce advanced biofuel. Refinancing debt is
eligible under certain conditions. |

Maximum
loan is $250 million. |
