Provides grants for the
purpose of assisting eligible rural communities to substantially increase their
energy self-sufficiency. The bill authorizes funds of $5 million per year,

As information becomes available,
it will be posted at this location.
As this funding is discretionary funding versus
mandated funding, it is unlikely that funding will be available for FY09.
