Direct Farm Labor Housing Loan and Grant Program

Provides financing to develop rental housing and related facilities for domestic farm laborers.

Eligibility:

• Farm owners, family farm partnerships or corporations, association of farmers, broad based nonprofit organizations and agencies or political subdivision of state or local government.

Terms and Conditions:

• Loans carry a 33 year term.

• The interest rate can be one percent or full market rate depending on whether the applicant can obtain credit elsewhere.

• Grants are available only to nonprofits or political subdivisions.
