Environmental Information

Each Rural Development State Office has a State Environmental Coordinator (SEC) who provides oversight and direction for implementing the state's environmental review requirements.

Once an applicant has completed the pre-application process, a full application will be invited by the Agency. At that time applicants shall provide sufficient information for RD to determine the type of environmental review to be conducted. Rural Development will work with the applicant to obtain comments and reviews from other agencies when required and prepare the appropriate reports.
