Business and Cooperative Programs
Quasar Energy Chief Operating Officer Clemens Halene explains the technology behind municipal wastewater anaerobic digestion to Rural Development’s Business & Cooperative Services Administrator Lillian Salerno, on hand for the recent grand opening of the Wooster Renewable Energy Facility in Wayne County. This first-of-its-kind project allows the plant to process wastewater more effectively and lowers costs by creating excess energy which can be used to operate the plant and fuel city vehicles.
