Eligible Rural Areas for Business Programs in Oregon

USDA Rural Development Business and Cooperative Program assistance is designed to assist rural businesses and rural entrepreneurs. Each Rural Development program has its own definition of rural, which guides its availability. Non-rural projects are typically ineligible.

Cornelius, Forest Grove and Talent, Oregon
Effective September 28, 2009: Cornelius, Forest Grove and Talent have been reclassified as "rural" and are therefore eligible for most RD business programs.

Ashland, Jacksonville, White City, Coburg, Turner, Butteville, Wilsonville, Boring, and Pleasant Home, Oregon
Effective April 2, 2009:  Ashland, Jacksonville, White City, Coburg, Turner, Butteville, Wilsonville, Boring and Pleasant Home have been reclassified as "rural" and therefore eligible for most RD business programs.

 

 

Maps of Oregon Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA's): These areas are generally ineligible for RD Business Programs assistance.
