Rural Business Opportunity Grant (RBOG) Program in Oregon

The RBOG program provides grants to nonprofit economic development groups, public bodies and tribes for strategic technical assistance, training and planning activities that promote best practices in sustainable economic development for rural communities with exceptional needs. RBOG funds are allocated through two funding pools: a general pool and a Native American pool. Typically, only one $50,000 RBOG can be awarded in Oregon from the general pool per year.

RBOG is not a grant for individuals or private businesses. Entrepreneurs seeking grants can find information in the following publication:  Financing Your Business in Oregon (PDF, 121 KB)
