Oregon Rural Development Business and Industry Program
REAP Guaranteed Loan Program in Oregon

REAP (Rural Energy for America Program, formerly known as the "9006" program) provides guarantees to commercial lenders on loans for the purchase and installation of renewable energy generating systems or energy efficiency improvements. This assistance is limited to loan to small businesses and farmers & ranchers. Projects must be located in a rural area.  There is an exception for Ag. Producers. REAP guaranteed loans may finance up to 75% of such a project. The maximum loan size eligible for a REAP guarantee is $25 million.


REAP applications are accepted year round, but they are typically only funded during specific funding windows.
 

The Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Fiscal Year 2013 has been announced.  The deadlines to submit applications are as follows:

 

Renewable Energy Systems and Energy Efficiency Improvements Applications

    Grant only applications are due by May 31,2013

    Grant and guaranteed loan combination applications are due May 31, 2013

    Guaranteed loan only applications are due by July 15, 2013

 

Feasibility Study Grants Applications

    Applications are due by May 31, 2013
