Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) Grants for Energy Efficiency in Oregon

REAP (formerly known as the "006" program) offers grants and/or loan guarantees for the purchase and installation of energy efficiency improvements. Assistance is limited to small businesses, farmers and ranchers. Projects must be located in rural areas. REAP grants and guarantees may be used individually or in combination. Together, they may finance up to 75 percent of a project's total cost. Grants can never finance more than 25 percent of a project or $250,000 -- whichever is less. (The REAP program also supports renewable energy projects.)

REAP applications are accepted year round, but they are typically only funded during specific funding windows.
 

The Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Fiscal Year 2013 has been announced.  The deadlines to submit applications are as follows:

 

Renewable Energy Systems and Energy Efficiency Improvements Applications

    Grant only applications are due by May 31,2013

    Grant and guaranteed loan combination applications are due May 31, 2013

    Guaranteed loan only applications are due by July 15, 2013

 

Feasibility Study Grants Applications

    Applications are due by May 31, 2013
