USDA Rural Development Disaster Assistance

USDA Rural Development can help existing borrowers who are affected by a natural disaster. Please contact your local Rural Development office for housing, business, or community assistance information. Victims of natural disasters who are not current borrowers should contact the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). FEMA is the lead agency that provides direct assistance to disaster victims.
