Cooperatives are a cornerstone of business development in rural communities, and can provide residents with new job opportunities, enhanced educational and health care services, and products which enable them to compete in today's global marketplace. Cooperative Programs provide assistance for rural residents interested in forming new cooperatives and administers programs that fund value-added producer grants, rural cooperative development centers, and small socially-disadvantaged producers. Energy for America Program (REAP) NOFA - Federal Register
- Renewable energy system and energy efficiency improvement
grant applications and combination grant and guaranteed loan
applications until April 30, 2013;
- Renewable energy system and energy efficiency improvement
guaranteed loan only applications on a continuous basis up to
July 15, 2013;
- Renewable energy system feasibility study applications
through April 30, 2013; and
- Energy audits and renewable energy development assistance
will not be offered in Fiscal Year 2013.
