(FEBRUARY 15, 2011) USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROVIDES $175,000 LOAN FOR A REVOLVING LOAN FUND FOR SMALL BUSINESSES
St. James, MO, Feb 15, 2011 --

@@Anita J. Dunning, the Missouri State Director of USDA Rural Development, hosted a certificate presentation on February 15, 2011, at the office of Meramec Regional Planning Commission located in St. James. Meramec Regional Planning Commission received a

loan through USDA Rural Development’s Intermediary Relending Program. The funds were used to establish and recapitalization of its revolving loan fund giving small businesses within their eight county service area in Mid-Missouri another avenue to receive funding so that they might be able to grow their business.

Dunning said, “Funding important projects like the establishment and recapitalization of this revolving loan fund giving small businesses another avenue to receive funding so that they might be able to grow their business mirrors President Obama’s initiatives for rural America and Rural Development’s commitment to the future of rural communities. Appreciation is also extended to our Federal elected officials for supporting USDA Rural Development. They have been strong proponents for the necessary funding for essential services for rural Missourians.”
