Pinewood Apartments Receives Award of Excellence
USDA Rural Development presents the honor
CLINTONVILLE, WI - JUNE 08, 2011 - - - -USDA Rural Development Wisconsin State Director, Stan Gruszynski, announced the selection of Pinewood Apartments as recipient of USDA Rural Development’s Award of Excellence, recognizing their success and dedication to providing affordable housing to the residents of rural Wisconsin.
The citation from Gruszynski reads, "In recognition of your dedication and commitment to providing safe, affordable housing to residents of rural Wisconsin. Your contribution creates a valued asset and is a testament to community pride."
The Award of Excellence is presented each June in conjunction with National Homeownership Month, to multi-family housing property owners and managers who continuously demonstrate their commitment to providing quality, affordable housing to the tenants they serve. Award winners are chosen from over 450 multi-family housing projects throughout the state.
Debbie Biga, USDA Rural Development Housing Specialist, presented the award to owners Paul and Jessica Ryan of Embarrass Housing Partners; and to Jason and Mike Gruett of A&M Services, the management company for Pinewood Apartments; at a recognition ceremony that took place today.
The facility is a 12-unit family complex. The property is well maintained, provides a family-friendly atmosphere, and has consistently provided quality housing at affordable rates.
USDA Rural Development Rural Housing Programs offer a broad range of homeownership assistance to qualified low and moderate income individuals and families who wish to, or currently live in, census defined rural communities. This past year USDA Rural Development supported more than $465 million in rural housing investments.
