Morgantown, WV, Jun 13, 2011 -- State Director Bobby Lewis today announced that USDA Rural Development approved a Water and Waste Disposal Loan of $2,295,000 for Clinton Water Association, Monongalia County, WV.

Rural Development funds will be used to upgrade several areas of the Association’s existing water distribution system. Construction will include upgrades to two water storage tanks, a main booster station, and approximately 12,600 feet of waterline. The upgrade of master meters will also be accomplished for the completion of the system’s telemetry system.

Lewis added, “These upgrades are needed to assure the continuation of adequate service for the Association’s 3,200 customers.”
