NEW CONSTRUCTION IN LOUP CITY, NEBRASKA
Mar 13, 2012 --

Sherman County Economic Development, the City of Loup City, NE and the Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Fund (NAHFT) wanted to provide housing opportunities for residents and for potential residents of Loup City by offering free lots to any family or individual who met the guidelines.

USDA Rural Development provided a 502 direct construction loan of $129,675 to Jennifer Bochart in September, 2011. This first time homeowner took advantage of Rural Development’s attractive interest rate and an affordable house payment.

Jennifer’s new home is conveniently located just blocks away from her son, Logan’s, school, the city’s ballpark and the playground. Rural Development was proud to have been a part of this new construction in Loup City and hopes to provide more opportunities of homeownership for rural Nebraska residents.
