(APRIL 11, 2012) FIRST INSIGHT EYECARE, LLC RECEIVES USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT GUARANTEE

Grant, Nebraska, Apr 11, 2012 -- First Insight Eyecare, LLC of Grant, Nebraska is the recipient of a business and industry loan originated by Pinnacle Bank in Grant and backed by a USDA Rural Development loan guarantee. The loan will allow for the business to restructure its financing for better rates and terms.

Eric and Victoria Gengenbach, Doctors of Optometry, purchased First Insight Eyecare’s existing clinics in Grant, Ogallala and Imperial, Nebraska in December of 2010. Eric is a native of Grant who wanted to return to his hometown where he would know a lot of his patients. Being recent graduates and buying a home to take roots in the community, the Gengenbachs looked into financing options available for their business to maximize their cash flow.

First Insight Eyecare, LLC provides eye exams and eye services. First Insight Eyecare offers the Ocular Coherence Tomographer, which is the only diagnostic equipment of its kind within 150 miles. The tomographer obtains detailed images of the retina and optic nerve. The business employs nine part-time employees as well as two full-time and one part-time optometrists.

“USDA Rural Development’s Business and Industry Guaranteed Loan program can help rural community businesses by being a financial avenue to obtain the rates and terms needed to help a business to cash flow,” said Nebraska State Director Maxine Moul, USDA Rural Development. “It is great to have those who left the rural area return and establish roots and maintain and create jobs that are needed to fortify the rural economy.”

“It is wonderful to have the opportunity to practice optometry in the community that helped mold me into the individual I am today,” said Eric Gengenbach.

“The community of Grant and the surrounding area appreciates and recognizes the quality of service First Insight Eyecare provides now and for many years to come,” said Kevin Beune, Pinnacle Bank.
