(APRIL 13, 2012) INDIAN HILLS GID CELEBRATES WATER AND WASTE WATER SYSTEMS IMPROVEMENTS

Carson City, NV., Apr 11, 2012 -- Indian Hills GID Celebrates Water and Waste Water Systems Improvements

(CARSON CITY -April 13, 2011) – USDA Rural Development (USDA RD) and the Indian Hills General Improvement District (IHGID) will celebrate Earth Day on April 20, 2012, at 3 p.m. at the IHGID board room, located off Vista Grande Blvd at 3394 James Lee Park Road in Indian Hills, just south of Carson City.

Each year, USDA RD selects one community as its Earth Day community based on its commitment to protect the natural environment by improving waste water treatment plants and safe drinking water systems. Recent upgrades to the Indian Hills water system and a solar-powered waste water treatment facility have improved water quality and brought the systems into compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act and state regulations. The public is invited to attend the celebration.
