A CATOOSA COUNTY FAMILY & USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT ARE HELPING TO REBUILD A COMMUNITY.
Jun 14, 2012 --

June 14, 2012 - This year’s homeownership month theme of “Now is the Time” proved to be accurate for a young Catoosa County family. Anthony and Ashley Ray greeted guests and family members to the Grand Opening Celebration of their newly constructed home on June 14th, 2012. Gus Purvis, housing specialist at the Cartersville, Georgia USDA Rural Development field office worked the Rays for their Section 502 Construction loan to purchase the lot, America’s Home Place, Inc. constructed the home. The Ray’s chose an Area of Catoosa County that was devastated last April 2011 by an unprecedented tornado outbreak. The Ray Family & USDA Rural Development are helping to rebuild a community.
