Ulysses, Nebraska, Sep 18, 2012 -- The Village of Ulysses has received nearly $900,000 from USDA Rural Development to install a new lift station and to update its current sewer lagoon system.
“Having an adequate sanitary sewer system is part of the essential infrastructure that is vital to rural communities,” said Area Specialist Janice Stopak, USDA Rural Development. “USDA Rural Development is pleased to be involved in this project.”
“On behalf of the Village of Ulysses, the Village Board of Trustees would like to thank USDA Rural Development and all those involved in the loan and grant process with our waste water, lift station project,” said Leslie Wilson, Village of Ulysses.
