Carson City, NV, Jan 29, 2013 -- USDA Encourages Lending with Financing Roundtable Jan. 29
USDA Rural Development Nevada will hold a Financing Roundtable discussion on Jan. 29, from 11-1 p.m. at the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, 8050 Paradise Road in Las Vegas. A Video Teleconference link will also be available at the Cooperative Extension Office at 2621 Northgate Lane in Carson City.
The goal of the Financing Roundtable is to encourage business lenders to relend funds from their federally funded revolving loan funds. Nationwide, there is currently over $300 million in federally funded revolving loan funds available for use in rural America.
Business Programs Director Herb Shedd will lead a discussion on the current barriers, challenges and opportunities in lending. Lenders, business representatives and intermediary lenders will discuss innovative capital structure opportunities, best practices and ways to mitigate credit risk.
