USDA Provides Medical Equipment for Hillsdale Community Health Center
EAST LANSING, Jan. 15, 2014 – U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Rural Development State Director for Michigan James J. Turner today commemorated an $18,565.62 grant for Hillsdale Community Health Center’s new fetal monitoring system.
“This is an investment in increasing access and quality of health care for the next generation of rural Michigan residents,” Turner said.
USDA Rural Development provided the grant through the Community Facility program. The upgrade includes mobile devices to improve staff access to critical monitoring information in the triage outpatient room. Total project cost is $123,018.37.
