The $8,000 Rural Development grant will be combined with
$8,300 in ETHRA contributions to continue their current marketing outreach
program designed to assist businesses in the area with workforce development as
well as distribute informational CDs and videos, and provide an update to the
agency's website.

The areas that will be affected by this grant are
Rural Development’s rural business enterprise grant
program provides assistance to local governments and non-profit organizations
that assist small businesses, develop local business infrastructure, provide job
training, conduct feasibility studies or provide technical assistance to
businesses and community leaders.
