Electric Programs GIS Financing

Effective December 20, 2006, the Electric Program will consider financing of Geographic Information System (GIS) investments. The content on this page is intended to provide the necessary information for including GIS in borrower loan applications. For more details see GIS Financing.

Electric Program GIS Resources

The GIS Resource Data Gateway provides a link to the United States Department of Agriculture's Geospatial Data Gateway to enable quick and easy access to GIS maps, their associated data, and other GIS related information such as aerial photograph and digital ortho-rectified images.

National Electrical Safety Code

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) now has a website for the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC). In addition to ordering information for the 2012 NESC, the website also contains Tentative Interim Amendments, Errata Sheets, and Interpretations. The NESC Zone home page may be found at http://standards.ieee.org/nesc.
