Guaranteed Loan Processing Time- Current turn time in Utah is 8-10 business days. If you have questions regarding this turn time, please contact Kristine Dahlberg by email or phone (801) 524-4329.

Business days exclude weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and all federal holidays. All loan applications are processed in the order they are received. "Rush requests" will not be processed any differently than all other requests. Please schedule processing times accordingly.

Guaranteed Loan - Prohibited Purposes- Properties with income producing potential, as well as with non-essential buildings (guest houses, in-law quarters, horse corral, barns, etc.) are ineligible. Small storage sheds and small pump houses are acceptable. Properties that are ff grid have catchment or cistern water systems, and/or have large acreage are also prohibited. Unpermitted additions are not eligible. Unpermitted, converted garage space must be converted back to its original use.

Section 502 Direct loans are primarily used to help low-income individuals or households purchase homes in rural areas. Funds can be used to acquire, build (including funds to purchase and prepare sites and to provide water and sewage facilities), repair, renovate or relocate a home. click HERE for more info. Rural Repair and Rehabilitation 504 Loan or Grant is a Very Low-Income Housing Repair program provides grants to very low-income homeowners to repair, improve, or modernize their dwellings or to remove health and safety hazards. Rural Housing Repair and Rehabilitation Grants are funded directly by the Government. A grant is available to dwelling owner/occupant who is 62 years of age or older. Funds may only be used for repairs or improvements to remove health and safety hazards, or to complete repairs to make the dwelling accessible for household members with disabilities.
