USDA Rural Development's Telecommunications Program provides financing to build and maintain rural telecommunications infrastructure nationwide.

These Telecommunications Program loans and grants fund construction, acquisition, expansion, and improvement of traditional telephone and broadband service in rural areas. Funds are available for commercial and nonprofit organizations to help meet a variety of rural communication needs, ranging from traditional telephone service to new, high-speed broadband technologies.
