Brazos Electric Power Cooperative, Inc.
Brazos Electric proposes to expand their existing power plant facilities near Joplin, in Jack County, Texas. The project will consist of expanding the generation capacity within the existing Jack County Power Plant Site, which currently operates a 600 MW gas-fired, combined-cycle electric generation station located within the 50 acre portion of Brazos Electric 205 acre tract. The proposed expansion will include the addition of one 600 MW natural gas-fired combined cycle generator and ancillary equipment located entirely within the 50 acre power generation site.
