HOME REPAIR LOAN AND GRANT PROGRAM

 

Rural Development makes low interest loans to very-low income households of any age to repair homes and to bring homes into a safe, sanitary condition, as well as grants to individuals over 62 years of age who cannot repay a loan.

This program works on the basis of adjusted income. We suggest you contact a Housing Specialist if your income is close to these limits, or if you have a family size in excess of eight persons.

 

 

Ineligible Areas for Single Family Housing Programs:

The following areas are ineligible for the Rural Housing Programs due to population density:

Concord, Derry, Dover, Hudson, Keene, Nashua, Londonderry, Manchester, Merrimack, Portsmouth, Rochester, Salem, parts of Goffstown and Hooksett.
