Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) - Section 9007

(Formerly Rural Energy/Energy Efficiency Program, Section 9006)
 

REAP increases energy independence. Through REAP, grant and loan funds are available to finance a range of energy production and conservation projects. These include renewable energy systems, energy efficiency improvements, feasibility studies, energy audits and renewable energy development assistance. The following is a summary of the financing available for each project type, and information about how to apply for financing.

Definition A project that produces energy from wind, solar, biomass, geothermal, hydro power, and/or hydrogen sources A project that increases energy efficiency.
