ICA Group – The ICA Group is a national not-for-profit organization which seeks to create and save jobs through the development and strengthening of employee-owned cooperatives and community-based projects. National Association of Housing Cooperatives - The National Association of Housing Cooperatives is a nonprofit national federation of housing cooperatives, mutual housing associations, member associations, other resident-owned or controlled housing, professionals, organizations, and individuals interested in promoting the interests of cooperative housing communities.

 

National Cooperative Business Association – NCBA is the lead national membership association representing cooperatives of all types and in all industries. NCBA membership is open to all cooperatives and associations of co-ops. Our member co-ops operate in the areas including agricultural supply and marketing, childcare, energy, food distribution, processing and retailing, financial services (credit unions), health care, housing, insurance, purchasing and shared services, and telecommunications.

National Cooperative Bank Development Cooperation – NCB is dedicated to strengthening communities nationwide through the delivery of banking and financial services, complemented by a special focus on cooperative expansion and economic development.

Northcountry Cooperative Development Fund – NCDF acts as a catalyst for the development and growth of cooperative enterprises in all sectors. The Fund's mission is to promote economic equity and community stability by making loans to cooperatives, and by providing corresponding support services.

Senior Cooperative Network – Cooperatively owned senior housing provides full apartment and townhouse living, controlled by the seniors themselves.

Small Business Administration – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation.

University of Wisconsin Center for Cooperatives – the Center organizes various extension/outreach programs directed at all aspects of cooperative business principles, organizing cooperatives, cooperative financing, cooperative structure, cooperative management, leadership and governance, and related topics for both agricultural and consumer cooperatives.

USDA Cooperative Services - The mission of Cooperative Services Program is to promote understanding and use of the cooperative form of business as a viable organizational option for marketing and distributing agricultural products.

Wisconsin Department of Commerce – The Primary agency for delivery of integrated services to businesses; includes news, department information and structure, and details about the state's business.

Wisconsin Federation of Cooperatives - WFC’s mission is to be the leading voice for the diverse cooperative community doing business in Wisconsin.

Wisconsin Small Business Administration - The Wisconsin SBA office is responsible for the delivery of SBA's many programs and services to the 72 counties of Wisconsin. Our offices are located in both Madison and Milwaukee.

USDA Rural Information Center (RIC)The RIC provides services for rural communities, local officials, organizations, businesses and rural citizens working to maintain the vitality of America's rural areas.

Wisconsin Bankers Association - Of the 310 Wisconsin banks, 97 percent are members of the Wisconsin Bankers Association. The Association represents banks of all sizes from banks in rural Wisconsin to the state's largest financial institution in Milwaukee.

Wisconsin Credit Union League - The Wisconsin Credit Union League, located in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, is the dues-supported, trade association for 264 Wisconsin credit unions – not-for-profit financial institutions that are cooperatively owned by their more than two million members.

Neighborhood Housing Services of Southeast Wisconsin, Inc. (NHS) - The purpose of the NHS of Southeast Wisconsin, Inc. is to renew pride, restore confidence, promote reinvestment, and revitalize the NHS neighborhoods through the efforts of local residents acting in concert with financial institutions, corporate enterprise and the business community, foundations, and local government.

Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) - WHEDA offers innovative products and services in partnership with others to link Wisconsin residents and communities with affordable housing and economic development opportunities.

Wisconsin Housing and Urban Development (HUD) - HUD's mission is to increase homeownership, support community development and increase access to affordable housing free from discrimination. To fulfill this mission, HUD will embrace high standards of ethics, management and accountability and forge new partnerships--particularly with faith-based and community organizations--that leverage resources and improve HUD's ability to be effective on the community level.

The Wisconsin Housing Alliance (formerly know as the Wisconsin Manufactured Housing Association), incorporated in 1949 was originally formed to address concerns with manufactured home manufacturers, retailers, suppliers and community owners. In 2003, the organization recognized the needs of modular home manufacturers and builders. In doing so it expanded its membership offerings and representation. As a part of that process it changed its name.

Wisconsin Realtors® Association (WRA) - The WRA is one of the largest trade associations in Wisconsin. Based in Madison, the WRA represents and provides services to more than 19,000 members statewide, including sales agents, brokers, appraisers, inspectors, attorneys, loan officers, legislators and literally anyone who touches the real estate industry in Wisconsin.

Wisconsin Rural Water Association (WRWA) - WRWA is a non-profit organization supporting water & wastewater systems throughout Wisconsin. WRWA has over 1,000 members which include: water & wastewater systems, corporate members, associate members and individuals. Wisconsin Rural Water provides a variety of services to the water industry including on-site technical assistance, training sessions for operators, managers, personnel & decision makers, emergency assistance, public relations and an extensive list of loaner equipment.

 

Wisconsin Community Action Program (WISCAP) - WISCAP is the voluntary association of Wisconsin’s 16 Community Action Agencies (CAAs) and 3 special purpose agencies that have state-wide anti-poverty missions.
