3.1.4.5.2  AMERICAN HERITAGE RIVERS

The American Heritage Rivers initiative, under Executive Order 13061, is intended to protect and restore rivers and their adjacent communities. The three objectives are natural resource and environmental protection, economic revitalization and historic and cultural preservation.

If the project is located adjacent to a designated area the preparer should coordinate with the designated agency having responsibility for the area.
