Murals in Colquitt, Georgia

On May 2, 2000, a dedication of the first of nine murals was held at Miller County High School.  The mural, which symbolizes Peace, was a collaborative effort between the artist, the teachers, and students.  The Miller/Colquitt Arts Council received a $78,400 RBEG for this project.  It is expected that tourist traffic will increase substantially in this rural area when all of the murals are completed.
