Congress approved emergency funds for areas affected by Hurricanes and Tropical Storms in 2003 or 2004. Rural Development will receive approximately $50 million for Water and Waste Disposal Grants; $18 million for Community Facilities Direct Loans and Grants; $5 million for home repair loans; $8 million for home repair grants; and $5 million for Farm Labor Housing Grants.
