USDA Rural Development staff participated in groundbreaking ceremonies for a new public safety building which will be located at 201 E. South Street in Monticello.

USDA provided grant funds totaling $89,655 awarded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to assist with financing the project which is estimated to cost around $900,000.
