USDA Rural Development was pleased
to host two information forums to discuss "The Renewable Energy Systems
and Energy Efficiency Improvement Program"
This program, announced by Secretary of Agriculture Ann Veneman on April
7th as part of the 2002 Farm Bill, will provide financial assistance for
the purchase of renewable energy systems and to make energy efficiency
improvements. Rural Development hosted two forums to provide the opportunity
for Kansas to learn more about this new program.
