assistance opportunities offered by our Agency.
Providing
homeownership opportunities will be an important factor to those
choosing to live in the area. Financing
can be provided by USDA Rural Development for homes in over one hundred communities
in the region. Manhattan and Topeka are the only two cities in the area ineligible
for Agency financing.

USDA
Rural Development is committed to supporting the Soldiers and civilian
personnel (along with their families) who are relocating to the Fort Riley
area.
As a
result of this commitment, the Agency has entered into a Memorandum of
Understanding to provide the necessary assistance to those being assigned
to Fort Riley (and the surrounding area); feel free to review a copy of
ths MoU below:

needed
community and economic development programming to assist Kansans and
the many
communities located in the Fort
Riley Regional Initiative area
of the Sunflower State.
