Ms.Snipes was one of the five families participating in the mutual self-help project which performed approximately 65 percent of the construction labor on each other's homes under qualified supervision.

The company's Board of Directors accepted the ceremonial check, representing a zero-interest loan for a ten year term, funded by the USDA Rural Development Rural Economic Development Loan & Grant Program, administered through Nemaha-Marshall Electric Cooperative Association.
