REAP Guaranteed Loan Application Information |
The content of a complete Section 9007 guaranteed loan application varies depending upon the total cost of the project, the type of energy project proposed (renewable energy or energy efficiency) and whether the guaranteed loan will be submitted in “combination” with a Section 9007 grant application or as a “stand-alone” application. Lender documentation requirements are greatly reduced for a “combination” guaranteed loan and grant application because the grant application provides a majority of the needed project information. The REAP Guaranteed Loan Program is a lender-driven process. Rural Development cannot consider a guarantee loan proposal in detail until a lender expresses serious interest in the project. REAP Guarantee Loan Applications must meet all the conditions specified in Sec. 4280.109 of RD Instruction 4280-B. |
