Technical Assistant Grants for Self Help Housing program

Grants are available for non profit entities to provide technical assistance to Self Help housing loan applicants to build their own homes. Non profit organizations interested in administering a Self Help Program may contact Norman Reed at 785-271-2722 or email norman.reed@ks.usda.gov

Housing Preservation Grant Program

Grants are made to non profit entities to operate a program which finances repair and rehabilitation activities to individual housing/rental properties for very low and low income property owners. Interested entities may contact Patsy Frommer at 785-271-2725 or email patsy.frommer@ks.usda.gov

Site Loan Program

Loans made to public bodies or non-profit entities to buy and develop lots to sell to very low, low or moderate income housing applicants at cost. This includes a program to finance sites to be used for the Self Help Housing program.
